Who We Are
Who We Are
Novida Testing Services (NTS) is an accredited laboratory dedicated to ensuring the safety and reliability of LPG appliances and regulators. Our laboratory is accredited to test in accordance with SANS 1539 and SANS 1237.
Founded in 2004 by Mr. K.J. Voigt, NTS achieved formal laboratory accreditation in 2008. Since then, we have proudly served manufacturers, importers, and regulatory bodies across the gas industry.
Our mission is clear: to ensure that every product entering the market complies with South African National Standards and safety regulations.

General Manager & Technical Management
With NTS since September 2015
Zane-Lee serves as General Manager and Technical Signatory. She oversees laboratory management, regulatory liaison, and ensures all testing meets accreditation requirements.

Administration & Quality Management
With NTS since September 2019
Ashley manages administrative operations and quality system support. As SANAS company representative, she ensures documentation, reporting, and quality systems align with accreditation standards.
Kobus Lotriet
Kobus Lotriet
Laboratory Supervisor
With NTS since September 2020
As Laboratory Supervisor and Technical Signatory, Kobus supervises testing activities, maintains equipment, and ensures procedures follow applicable standards. He is also a registered domestic gas installer.
Marius Lotriet
Marius Lotriet
Laboratory Test Officer
With NTS since September 2019
Marius executes appliance and regulator testing as a Test Officer and Technical Signatory. He is also a registered domestic gas installer, bringing valuable hands-on experience.
